My hope is that everyone reading this is as grateful as I am for the warm weather we are being treated to in November. The mid-term elections are right around the corner ~ next week; AND “polls’ are open for the ASAM Board of Director election! I will be sending a letter to you via email to encourage you to vote! There are 6 Board Member positions open. The candidates are impressive. Please be involved to shape the path of our organization.
We continue to meet monthly, though we are combining the ‘holiday months’ into one, on December 5 at 5 pm. Be on the lookout for an invite in early December. This meeting will likely shape our election planning. Please join us!!
Speaking more about ELECTIONS: there will be a NNESAM election leading up to our annual election in 2023 and we are looking for nominations for all positions (except President, as we have a president elect). In our new Bylaws (once approved) we will be adding to the Board of Directors. We will add up to 4 Directors at Large. Please consider nominating someone ~ or yourself for a position! We realize everyone is busy; still, isn’t it good to be able to connect with others who do what you do and be able to talk about it and share in the enthusiasm to positively influence our practices?
